Great views, great tacos, good vibes here! Drinks are decent too if you don't mind drinking out of plastic cups,not sure if they stay open in winter, a bit pricey but tacos are huge and delicious, you get what you pay for in quality!!

4 stars for being able to sit on a dockside patio, 3 for food... but not terrible. If it was not outdoors I would not return but the setting was really nice on a cooler mid September eve. Good menu, lots of beer on tap including the local Sand City Ooops Feels like you are in Montauk '90's

We recently tried whales tail in Northport and had such a nice time ! It's located on the water and has amazing views of the local local marina For drinks, we ordered the tequila frose, which was PHENOMENAL!! We really loved the frose, it tasted like the perfect summer drink We also ordered the watermelon Mojito, which was delicious as well! For lunch, we ordered the surf and turf taco, the bang bang, shrimp taco and the street bowl. The tacos were amazing and you could taste how fresh seafood was! The street bowl had a great variety of flavors, we even added grilled shrimp and it was overall delicious! The staff was very kind and this is definitely a great spot to hang out at with friends. They have taco Tuesday specials and even half off appetizers on Thursdays! We love the vibes here and would definitely come back for drinks for a girls night out They also have a new podcast which features tips and tricks of the restaurant business! They have new episodes EVERY week and they give inside info of the whales tail! Definitely check them out if you're looking for a great laugh! Whales Tale is fun! They have at least three frozen drinks and the tacos are big and delicious. We had a lovely if not completely what you think of when you think of a pina colada and nachos to start. The nachos are also basic but good if you like a very very very basic nacho. The tacos are the star here. We had tuna, bang shrimp, turkey burnt ends, and Nashville chicken. The turkey burnt ends were unreal. And the tuna had the best wasabi sauce. Plus the tacos are hardy big boys. Perfect for an easy breezy drink and taco night. Plus you'll never know if it's the Whales Tale or the Whale's Tale which is just a lovely homage to Crazy Ex Girlfriend's Spiders/Spider's (IYKYK)

The service here was quick and efficient. The food was phenomenal with excellent portions and great taste. The only complaint was the air conditioning as there was none present and it was a hot summer day. I loved the Maui tacos they were very good and I the chicken was cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed the nachos very much because of all the guacamole they gave us and salsa. The surf and turf tacos were good and described as delicious and savory. I recommend not getting the guacamole only because it is more expensive than the nachos which have the guacamole already in it and more. Another tip is to post an instagram photo of your food for 10% off your order I took a photo of my friend in a lovely fashion. Overall great experience 4/5!

Our server was so sweet and met us with smiles. If you want delicious food a gorgeous view and a perfect marg. This is the place. The serving sizes are def shareables so come hungry. Everything we had and I mean EVERYTHING was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. 10/10

Just note that Happy hour specials are only at the bar. The beers are fresh and rotating with some from the Harbor Head Brewery on the other side of the parking lot. One of my favorite dishes here is the Barbecue Chicken Quesadilla, always very good. I tried the Maui Chicken Tacos for the first time, also good. Any evening here for Happy Hour is good value drinks and appetizer specials. Having spent Happy Hour at the bar, I have to say that I received excellent service from the very busy bartender. Taco Tuesday and Thursday for half priced Taps and Apps, are also very good with the difference being that on Tuesday and Thursday, the special prices are available at all tables.
